In short, “No”. ERPS uses Capacitive Coupling Technology, a system proven in the harshest of conditions for over twenty years. Other technology such as cathodic/impressed current systems, while similar in the fact that they use an electrical charge to slow or stop rust and corrosion, are not designed for cars. They are generally used for structures such as boats, bridges and pipelines, where they require submersion in water or at least an aquatic environment to carry the electrical charge.
Having pioneered electronic rust prevention in Australia, ERPS has the runs on the board with countless success stories and thousands of satisfied customers both in Australia and around the globe. For more information regarding different forms of rust prevention, click here!
